Grand Napa Vineyards Heir Apparent Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve 2013
Grand Napa Vineyards Heir Apparent Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve 2013 – It is dark and inky purple. It is produced with fruit from Yountville, Oakville, and Spring Mountain in Napa Valley. The deep nose has aromas of chocolate covered cherries, raspberry, black currant, blackberry, blueberry, tobacco, grilled plum, spice, and a hint of white pepper. On the palate, flavors of blackberry, black cherry, raspberry, black licorice, grilled plum, dark chocolate, sweet tobacco and nice soft mixed spice are found. The finish is very elegant and long. This is a very nice wine that would pair exquisitely with a filet mignon or a nice marbled ribeye steak. Feel free to decant for an hour. It will cellar well for many years. Alcohol 14.8%. Less than 400 cases produced.
