Hesperian Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2008
Hesperian started in 2004 when I fell in love with a beautiful small vineyard in Cooombsville. In 2006 the project morphed into making small lots of 100% Cabernet Sauvignon wines in order to show very clearly the differences between terroirs. The focus on small lots of terroir driven Cabernet Sauvignons continued until 2010. Over the years I made wines from Coombsville, Spring Mountain, Rutherford, Mount Veeder, Howell Mountain and various other part of the Napa Valley.
Aging: 44.5% new, 39% once used, 16.5% twice used French oak 19 months in barrel. Racked once. Unfined, unfiltered.
