La Lastra 2013 Chianti


Hand-harvested grapes undergo extensive selection. Cold maceration on the skins for 14 days. Alcoholic fermentation is carried out in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 26 °C for 14 days.

Aging Process
14 months in stainless steel vats of 40 Hl and French oak barriques (2nd passage). 2 months in the bottle before the release.

Color: Deep ruby red color
Bouquet: Nose with medium complexity, hints of red fruits, flowers, spices and minerals
Flavor: Good structure; balanced, fresh and persistent sip
Pairings: Ideal with pasta dishes, red meats, cold cuts and medium-aged cheeses
